I am Laurie Sessa, a coach, salesperson, blogger, budding writer, and an awesome “Auntie” to my nieces, nephews, and friends’ kids. I am step-mom to twin 24-year-old step-daughters, Chelsea and Kaitlyn, and Eric, a very special 19-year-old young man who lives with me and his Dad full time. Eric was born with Williams Syndrome, and is full of love and light. I share a lot about our lives in order to share Eric’s light with the rest of the world.
I am passionate about helping emerging leaders fulfill their potential as early in their careers as possible. The best advice I ever received was to surround myself with people who want to see me succeed. Now, I want to be that person for the world around me – I want to help others achieve their goals and to realize their dreams.
I am a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Certificate Program with an undergraduate degree in Government/Public Policy from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master’s Degree in Arts and Teaching from Trinity Washington University.
I started my career in education as a teacher, and then transitioned into a business career in sales and marketing. I have extensive business experience in marketing, sales and sales management in the software industry, and currently work at Blackbaud, Inc. in the beautiful Charleston, SC.

Out of pure curiosity…Are you the same Laurie Sessa that once attended McClintock JHS in Charlotte, NC? 1985-86 or so? I, too, was a Student there at the time…therefore my asking…
